Custom packaging illustrations created for Silverback Tea, a premium tea brand grown in Rwanda. Inspired by the iconic mountain gorillas that inhabit the region, the artwork combines wildlife illustration, brand storytelling, and packaging design to celebrate the unique relationship between biodiversity, landscape, and tea cultivation. Developed in collaboration with Popping Mustard for a luxury consumer product launch.
From the land of coffee, comes a tea, that demanded the same sense of uniqueness in its packaging. A product range from Luxmi Tea, Silverback Tea has a one-of-a-kind origin story. Grown in the heart of Rwanda, from nature and by nature, Silverback tea is a luxury tea that is born wild – in the confluence of flora and fauna coming together.
Named after the mighty Silverback Gorillas who neighbour the plantations and often pay the estates a visit, this bright, brisk and golden cup of tea is of superior quality and taste in every sip.
